Located in Menzies Creek amongst the leafy green hills of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria’s outer east, John has a lifetime of experience as a master craftsman fashioning Cigar Box Guitars like none you have ever seen or heard before.
The sounds which resonate from these magnificent musical instruments are electric with loads of grunt. Made in the style of the original 3 string cigar box guitars from the mid 1800’s. John builds not only 3 string slide guitars, but also 3 or 4 string fretted guitars, and the choice is yours from the current Black Diamond Cigar Box Range.
